items of interest?
« on: October 03, 2012, 02:43:45 PM »
I have a listing, circa 1993, that was put out by the Italian Trade Assoc.  of approx: 90 companies in Italy who produced glass and giftwares with their contact info and a short list of the type items they produced. If anyone is interested in this,,I hesitate to dispose of it. I'd be willing to send it to anyone  for $10 + postage. It has many glass companies listed , as an example, Alfredo Barbini SRL,Francesco Barbini, Fratelli Barbini, Silvio Barbini, I had no idea there were at least 4 Barbini glass manufacturers at different addresses. , as well as several Fuga companies. I had gotten this from the Italian trade assoc. when I made a trip to Italy in 1993. total of 16 pages with 6 names on a page. I wonder how many of these are still in business.
I also have an old Sam Herman brochure, circa 1981, and a couple of Midsummers Glassblowers brochures, circa 1980's listed on e-bay at present as well, if anyone is interested.

I've just searched for your Sam Herman Brochure - I'd love it but I can't find it!
help me, please!

This post should perhaps be moved to "the marketplace forum" - where you can put direct links to your sales.

It's staying here in the US to a buyer who has been buying a lot of glass material from me. I think it may all end up in a museum.

Oh, I was wrong, then. I thought my competition was a friend here!
A museum would really be the correct place for them - except I will never get to see them if they're in the US.  :'( :'( :'(
