Please see: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,26015.0.html for information on the soon-to-happen removal of my web articles on Ysart and Related Paperweights.

Hi Kevin,

this is really sad news!

In the other thread you give the reasons: you mention Yahoo - same provider which killed my SSD project a few years back.

You also mention that you consider shifting your pages to Scotland's Glass. I am not quite neutral here  ::) - but I would consider this a good solution to keep as much of your important info as possible online.

I have been in discussion with Kevin and hope to preserve all of his pages in one way or another. They are an extremely important asset to the community.

It would be a shame if Kev's pages and site was not preserved, I have learnt a lot reading through his site in the past and continue to use to refresh my ailing memory!

This might be an appropriate time and place to remind folk gently that Scotland's Glass very much appreciates donations to keep it  up and running.

Hi Kevin,

I feel terribly bereft by the loss of your website  :'(. I can neither enjoy a quick break looking at pretty PY/SY weights nor refresh my memory on some features of Ysart weights when I need to.

I hope that the content of the site will be available on Scotland Glass soon (no pressure ;D)...

In the meantine, can you tell me whether you showed a butterfly with a torsade and an outer ring of canes among your PY butterflies collection?

There were no weights with a torsade in my pages. That is one of several designs that I do not have in my collection.
