it looks to me as if it says
@(c in a circle actually, not an at sign but I couldn't find a copyright sign, for 'copyright') IOW Glass 1999

I can't make IOW out of it... lolo or holo... perhaps?
St John's crystal had a copyright thing for making maximals and minimals with Isle of Wight Studio Glass, but things went a bit sour between them and MH and the quality of the stuff they made deteriorated (there has been a plethora of inferior minimal-ly things appearing at various times on eby, en masse - I have presumed somebody bought up old stock from St John's).
The stopper is not right for IoWSG, but I suppose it could be something made at St. John's, either before or after the fall out, or if it does read IOW, it could still refer to one of the other makers on the IoW - Alum Bay or Glory Art Glass?

Sue, I hve no idea about IOW glass so you are probably right.
I wasn't sure it did say that either but I checked the signature online for comparison and I think it is
first circular shape is a copyright sign
second 'L' is actually a straight I
third o is an o
and the w has the second U loop joined near the top to the middle stroke. and is also unfortunately joined to the O on the left hand side
I'll have another look to see if I can find  comparison sig to link to with that odd W

It does indeed - could it read Gozo?
I wouldn't think IoWSG themselves would stick the copyright bit on they wouldn't need to - so it would be more likely to be one of the places MH got involved with setting up or encouraging - such as St John's or Gozo?

the one I linked to also has a copyright symbol at the end of the sig  :-\  - it's dated 2000 which is a similar timeframe so maybe they were putting it on at that time ?  I don't know, as I say I know nothing about IOW glass.  Does the one I linked to actually say IOW glass?  I think it does but it's quite difficult to read as well.  I don't think it it says Gozo  :-\

Looks as if it reads Loco to me! But the pic seems attached to some sort of site which might be the IoWSG one....

having googled loco glass images, it would appear this bottle might actually BE Loco glass - scroll down a bit!

there's a bottle the same shape on the site

I could not get past lolo once you'd mentioned it  ;D and Loco never occurred to me.

Now all Cazza needs to do is email the picture of the bottle and the signature to Loco Glass and ask if it is one of their pieces and all will be settled.
I wonder if the one you linked to m, is also the same studio and is Loco, not IOW??
