Scottish Vase?
« on: October 11, 2012, 08:08:03 AM »
This is unusual for me. I don't think it's Monart or Vasart. It is  over 8" high and has the mottled effect and many canes to middle and base. It's with my dealer and I might buy knowing what it is. Broken rough pontil scar to bottom.

That's what the dealer thinks it is but I have not seen a vase by them before.

I can't remember if the pontil mark has a P. The Perthshire attribution now looks good though. Thanks, Ill tell the dealer. I may buy but at £160 I think is too expensive.
