Clear trinket set with rosetted star motif decoration.
« on: October 11, 2012, 02:53:06 PM »
A trinket set having the sheen of crystal but seems to be pressed.

Pair of candlesticks each measuring 2.25" high x 3.5" wide x 2.5" deep.
Large lidded pot measures 5.25" tall x  4.25" wide x  3" deep.
Small open dish measures just over 1" high x 4" wide x 2.75" deep.
Tray measures 13" x 10" approximately.

I’ve seen several similar trays, but this is the first time I’ve come across what seems to be a complete (or substantially complete) set.

The impressed rosetted star motif in the decoration seems reminiscent to me of much of the decoration on modern Czech or Polish crystal.

ID’s comments or suggestions, please?
