Amber glass Cruet set
« on: October 14, 2012, 01:43:42 PM »
Picked this up today for a nice £1. It is Czechoslovakian made, says so on the bottom of the tray. I cant find it on pressglass and more etc. It is Art Deco in style with Bakelite (or plastic as its known  ;D) Any idea on Manufacturer or date.
Pete. :-)

hello Anne   -  I've looked at the Hermanova before 1958, and can see a pot finial that looks very similar, but can't find the pepper and salt or the tray - probably missed it, but which page are you looking at please. :)

Oh this Stolzle Hermanova Cruet Set in Amber is lovely! Salt Pot, Pepper Pot, Mustard Pot and matching Tray.

There is a butter dish pattern 19268 here:

Vase (came in 4 sizes) pattern 19249 here:

https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,9067.0.html

Candy or Cookie Jar/Biscuit Barrel/Ice Bucket pattern 19286 here:

https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,29927.0.html

Trinket Set pattern 19230 19276 19277 here:

https://www.glasstrinketsets.com/cms3/czechoslovakian/hermanova/11566-19230

There used to be another trinket set around, same tray with extra base pattern, double sconce/branched candlesticks and pots which match the finials of this 192** Stolzle Hermanova pattern, I think it used to be Mystery Set #29 but can't seem to locate it.
