"R" hot-stamped weight identification
« on: October 16, 2012, 11:33:42 PM »
I have a small pedestal style paperweight with a small snake that is hot-stamped on the bottom with "R". Does anyone know what artist uses that as their signature?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you try and contact Rossi Glass of Canada.  Have a small pear stamped in this way - although the font is different.(see photos).

I have images of three more R-stamps - all different - and different to the one in question here or the Rossi Glass one.

Obviously, someone using an R may have used different R's with time - but altogether 5 different R's suggest to me that more than just a single artist in involved.
