help please is this Scandinavian glass, looks a bit like glass from Finland but not sure
any info would be welcome

i had looked at those but it does not have the concave ground pontil
there is always someone worse off .

Hi Stew, it is indeed Whitefriars the colour is Sage.
Not all Whitefriars have the pontil mark, the rim on the vase was cut off and ground and polished so no  need to put it back on the rod it would just be smoothed over on the marver.
Photos here will show it better, a similar textured 'pot bellied' vase but this time with the polished out pontil mark this is because the rim as been 'fire polished' so needed to be re-attached to the pontil rod.
Also added photos of 'your' vase so you can see what I mean.
