Murano Figurine
« on: October 20, 2012, 03:49:17 PM »
Here is a Murano (I think) figure of a lady. Bought last week. Can anyone verify it as Murano and maybe a factory. I will buy such things with no attribution, however dealer told me its Murano.

I googled lots of figurines and there are lots of different makers.

Thanks Adam

Hi Adam

Lovely piece you have there!!  I would say (IMHO) it is Murano.  Not sure of the maker, but will see IF I can find anything for you.  She must had a mate at one time (I would think) ??

I am so glad you called it a figurine, rather than just a Figure.....as you get so much other crap when you google figure rather than figurine.  I just wish more people would refer to these types as Figurines....and other glass items like animals, and fish to the word FIGURE solely.  Helps to define the things on the net (ebay, etc)  a bit more, IMO......

Great piece......looks like Xmas came early for you Too  ;)  Good for you!!!
