Milky glass vase on metal stand - ID = Wavecrest

Another vase my mom (80) got from her mom years ago. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure it's glass? It looks more like ceramic. What does it say on the base?

Its American, C F Monroe. Opal ware. They were decorators so bought blanks in. Should find the name on its mark and probably also CFM on metalwork. Quite desirable, c1900 but not sure if decoration is worn on yours?

The mark says Wave Crest Christine.

Thank you so much! I have to admit my eyesight is bad enough that I could not read the mark (I'm only 55 too) but I e-mailed the picture to my son who confirmed that it says Wave Crest. As usual you all are super helpful, thanks!
