I've just bought this item on ebay. It hasn't arrived yet, but the seller has given me permission to use their images here.

It's a pressed or cast lighting or architectural panel with a parrot design moulded in relief. It's apparently unmarked and is not a design I recall seeing before.

Dimensions are approx. 32 cm tall by 13 cm wide.

My thoughts are that it could be continental; however, there is also a chance it is from a British maker. The style and technique have very much in common with the Walsh Walsh's Vesta lighting panels. Hailwood & Ackroyd also made similar pieces and, according to Baker & Crowe, Jobling also produced lighting panels.

When it arrives, I'll look it over carefully for any marks that might have been missed. However, it will likely be a while before I get my hands on it, so, in the meantime, I'm hoping somebody can help identify who might have made this gorgeous piece.

Thanks ;)

Steven — Lovely item, and in such fine condition.

In my opinion unlikely to be H&A as I had their Deco owl panel (shown on great-glass) through my hands, and the bottom edge was covered in pattern nos and a registration number.   The pattern doesn't fit well with other Walsh / Gilbert designs — it's too Deco, and most of the Walsh / Gilbert range are also marked.   I think you have a fabulous Continental piece.

... but I have been known to get it wrong.   ;D
