Italian Paperweight ??? I think ??
« on: October 24, 2012, 04:00:10 PM »
Hi there:

Just got this and I am thinking that it is Italian (Murano) PW -- My guess would be Fratelli Toso *because* it seems I always find stuff from them.....but that is just a guess.  Bottom does have some wear.

Any true confirmations, or the year made?  Thanks  ;)

The canes suggest Archimede Seguso to me...however, I think Murano canes were made in a few factories, but used by more. So there is some uncertainty.

Thank you Alan for the suggestion that it may be ?? Archimede Seguso.  That would be neat if it could be confirmed.  My guess about FT looks like it is wrong. LOL.....at least I got the Italian part right.

Your suggestion gives me another avenue to look at.   Thanks  ;)

BTW as always, Lov-v-v-v-ve you website !!
