Seriously good find — presumably you didn't pay too much 

Is the signature engraved or acid painted? It looks as if it could be the latter from your photo but it's difficult to tell.

How tall is it — you don't say in your OP.

Hello Robbo.
The vase is just over 16" ish and the signature and date etc is engraved not acid etched.
It's a thing of beauty.
As to price I think at any price it's a bargain just for the chance to buy it.it came from a general sale in a lot with 2 empoli bottles and a moretti vase so as I said my purchase of the year but there's still a few weeks left to top it.
I'm pleased you like the piece and thanks for the interest.

A great size, too. I was a little concerned that it might a Helander version made after he left Nuutajarvi Notsjo, so very pleased that it's an original.  Great acquisition.

yes its a keeper thats for sure well for awhile anyways it sits nicely with the small vase/candleholder i purchased a couple of months ago which i posted on the message board which was made at nuutajarvi and designed by Jakko Niemi  (thanks to ivo) for the info.the links below.its been a good year for me with nuutajarvi.happy hunting.
