Help ID Please. Amber Glass bowl Vintage Beautiful No Marks
« on: October 27, 2012, 08:59:23 PM »
Hope this isn't a repeat post, but I can't find my original : (  This serving bowl is 12" from lip to lip.  No makers marks, no pontil.  The matching candlestick that I also purchased has a seam, no photos of it here though.  The black and gold decor looks hand-painted.  I think the decor is sea-anemones.  I'm guess this is 1930's, maybe Czech, but probably European?  May be way off the mark, but anything anyone can tell me about the bowl would be so helpful.  Thank you in Advance.

That is a pretty bowl......I am not sure, but someone might know.  See what I can find anything.  Are you in the USA as that is a starting place to look for glass that it could be....but then it could be from anywhere too.

See what we can do...................and WELCOME!!  :)

HI, Thank you so much, it gives me a bit of hope.  I'm in the U.S.A.  I've googled, I've been on replacements (that search can be a joke), I've been on ebay, etsy, etc. and I'm just stuck.  The decor looks like sea anemones to me, but I'm open to suggestions.  Even if I could narrow that down, it might help.  Regards, :)
