ID Help Please Ruby Red Bowl on crystal pedestal No marks has Pontil Hand-blown?

This beautiful piece is about 6.5" tall, and 7.75" across.  The ruby red glass is heavy and much more clear than my photo shows.  I believe photo 2 is the pontil, inside the hollow pedestal at the base of the bowl.  The crystal base is hollow and also heavy but not hand-blown?  Is this a fairly recent piece?  Is it Italian?  There are no marks.  Thank you so much in advance for any help you can provide.

Or is it glue on the underside of the bowl?  :(
