ooh, I LIKE that! can we see the whole piece and colours in all it's glory please? :)

With pleasure M, the shape code is C.
The incandescent effect is much stronger on the base, which is fairly common on Monart.

Beautiful!  so I think it needs to be lit front on to show the colours to their best advantage ?

I have a bit of a struggle to display my 30s collection.  If I group according to what I like on the eye, I find that some don't show as they should, because some need backlight or top light to show internal decoration, others needs to be lit from the front .. very irritating  ;D

Joys of glass collecting.

Monart also had some colours that need fluorescent light for best effect.

Thanks M and Roberta for your comments on the vase.
At the moment I have it back lit with LED lights in a cabinet, which does not show of the incandescent effect to it's best.

To save you from a criminal record by breaking in to my house, below is a link to my Monart collection. Still to add an other 5 pieces to the gallery.

That is I suppose why I like Monart ie a piece can take on a completely different appearance depending on what/where the  light is coming from.

Thanks for that Gary, more drooling on my keyboard   ;D If I am ever in your neck of the woods maybe I can come and see them in real life!
Question: is the last vase pictured cased or surface decorated?

If you are ever in the Fair City of Perth you are more than welcome to come and see my Ysart collection.
Below is a link to some of my Vasart glass, I need to add the rest of the collection to the album.

If this is the vase you mean, it is cased in clear glass, though the applied foot is surfaced decorated.

I have three surfaced decorated pieces, they are the vases, shape C and FA and the bowl DB and they are all on page 1 of the album.

It is larger than the normal sized baskets, standing roughly seven inches tall, at the moment it is in sealed box, so I can't say for certain.
