Still more from the basement...
This owl is 12.5cm high and 6.5cm across at the widest. He is probably hollow, although the weight suggests the walls are quite thick. There are mould seams up both sides but they are not very prominent, suggesting some care in the making. The base has a criss-cross pattern of dimples, which is presumably the pattern on a plunger used to push the glass against the mould to finish it off.
Is this a recognisable product of some place and time?
