Hi, I'm hoping someone here might help with a few other mysterious pieces I've aquired from my mother. These are very delicate pieces of art glass signed in gold by a RW.
Thanks anyone out there for any direction or insight possible to figuring out what these pieces are or who the artist might have been.

Here is the other piece signed by RW in the form of a pin tray with a cat drawn on it:

Thanks for any help!

The style of these pieces suggest Israel as a source, notably Nahariya glass / Andreas Meijer. There are several artists in the compound with different sigs.
Alternatively try googling slumped glass and see what comes up in images. Glass slumping and decoraring is not the most difficult process and tnere are quite a few others who did so, esp in the usa.

Thanks for your insights about glass slumping. I might say these pieces were made that way, except that they are so thin and delicate. The pictures don't really show that they are very fragile and one person even suggested they could be salts. But that wouldn't be possible because they are far too thin for any use except as art glass.
The age of these items would prevent me from saying they were from Israel originally. I know my mother aquired these pieces in the 60's in the states.
Thanks for your suggestions and insight into slumping.

Slumping is achieved by heating glass enough for it to 'slump' into the former. Thickness of glass has no bearing other than thinner the glass the quicker the slump
