Delphinium series vase
« on: October 08, 2018, 03:34:18 PM »
Help is required identifying the signature on my lovely large vase.
It is signed and then engraved Delphinium series. I would love to find out who the artist is.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

It's looking very Isle of Wight Studio Glass-ISH, and although I cannot read the signature, I rather strongly suspect it might say William Walker.
I know he's been working alongside Tim and was involved with setting up the new studio after IoWSG went into admin.
He was the chap who developed Azurene with Michael Harris in '79.

He's also a member here.  ;D
We do have some examples of his work illustrated in this thread below.

But have a board search yourself - there's a fair bit more and you'll probably find out a lot more about him just reading around the board.  :)
