St Tudy 1976 quartz paperweight, number 163
« on: November 26, 2012, 10:35:52 AM »
Hi again, need a bit of help if possible please

I am currently researching the above weight and came across this previous thread:

http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,46239.msg259578.html#msg259578

Is there any way of knowing by looking at this weight if it is from the original 500 run or a later batch (did the numbers go back to 1 for each run?)  and whether it has  Liskeard or IOWSG origins?

thanks, Mel

Hi Mel
These weights were made by Liskeard Glass for the St Tudy Paperweight Centre, the earlier ones had ST and a date but when the centre moved to Yelverton they were made with a Y and date.
