How to distinguish whether Silesia or Thuringia?

On ebay I have found a very nice German paperweight:

My question is:
How can I reliably distinguish whether the origin is Silesia or Thuringia?

Hi.  I am not sure that anyone knows enough about all the relevant factories to tell the difference in every case, but this paperweight looks like it has Lauscha canes in it - so it would be from Thuringia.
