Crystal Finial on a Stick on the BBC
« on: December 12, 2012, 07:06:32 AM »
BBC2, Put Your Money where Your Mouth is, repeat broadcast December 11 2012.

Philip Serrell bought a stick with a long silver finial, finished with a squashed crystal ball like the feet on a Webb crescent table centre mirror plateau, registered January 14 1876.   I only caught a glimpse of the engraved design, but it was floral with a stylised flower pot, and looked to me very Jack Lloyd.   As usual discussion on the silver, but none on the glass.

Did anyone else think along the same lines?
