Well, the glasses themselves were lovely - really well made, and the stems were just so elegant. But while the etching/engraving was interesting and unusual - it really wasn't of the best quality - the depictions of the vines and leaves around the top left a lot to be desired. I would think whoever bought them paid the top price they would achieve - they would not have been a bargain.
Do not despair Dinklepip - there will be other beautiful glasses with your name on, somewhere.  :-*

The glasses were at the Kempton fair today I was not interested in buying but asked how much they were  £200.00 and was told they were Venetian ,they sold a little later on.
