mystery glass
« on: December 02, 2012, 07:56:29 PM »
After a terrific responce to my first ever posting i hope this message board will be able to unlock a few blind spots in my collection.
I have bought 3 of thees glasses recently in two different sizes .one has male nude figures, the others have female nude figures.there is a very small cast mark on the base very much like the fenton mark but i have never seen any fenton that looks like this.
any comments would be a help.
thank you

Hi and welcome,  Its a little difficult to tell for sure as your photo isn't enlarging to show the finer detail, however, this does look very similar to the one I recently posted, discussed in the following thread:

If you have the male one too, please post a picture. As we lack an example of that on here, some even doubt it exists  :o

Mods: Might be worth combining all the threads on these.

I find the best way to get clear pictures on crystal is to hold it up to the window in day light and take picture from an angle below. (If that makes sense.) Or put it on the windowsill and aim up into the glass.  Take a look http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=50108.0;attach=115858;image
Pete. :-)

But you need a plain background to see detail...
