Thank you, Nigel - I had overlooked the date on the chart.  Mind you, that doesn't mean that the catalogue was necessarily printed or produced in 1938, simply that it wasn't produced before then.

There's no date of issue in mine I used this page for dating.. ;D

It was Keith who suggested the date to be 1938, and although I understand why, I'm with you that it suggests that it was after that date.

I was interested your statement earlier, since I had not heard that story before:

This does make some sense and also explains why they could be given away to members attending at one Glass Association meeting many years ago. They seem to be available on occasion on a well known auction site ;)
