Murano Bird with Label
« on: December 14, 2012, 02:10:41 PM »
Just bought, a Murano sommerso bird. Big and quite heavy- 11" high. Labelled. Wondered if anyone can ID a maker.

I had a crane just like this, but with clear glass. I had always thought it was Cenedese because that is what others online said. But then I saw a few VNason cranes that looked very much like it. And I saw Cenedese cranes that didn't look at all like it. I have still not been able to sort out which company made the crane.

Thanks Anita, could be Cenedese - what ever I love it. I recently bought a lot of Murano to add to my collection, this being one piece.

Lovely colours as well Adam... I bet it looks gorgeous with the light behind it.
