Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the signature contained on the base of this large modernist glass candlestick, which I presume would date to sometime around the 1960s..?

The signature proved extremely hard to capture, however, think this is the best of the bunch, please see picture 3. It appears to be French and followed possibly by the word 'France' although I'm not 100% sure, so please view with an open mind.

Plenty of wear to the base with ground and polished pontil.

Measures 13 inches tall and weighs 3.6kg.

The style reminds me of a mix of both Scandinavian and continental 50s/60s design.

All suggestions welcome.

Many thanks
Greg

I would read Schneider France - but have no idea whether the item fits Schneider style.

Hi Wuff,
Thanks, I was reading the first two letters as 'Le' and then a space, however i think you have hit the nail on the head.....
