Steuben????
« on: April 14, 2006, 12:17:22 AM »
Well, here I am again, bought another paperweight without knowing what I'm doing.  But I liked this and thought it was unusual shape.  Did Steuben sign all his paperweights, because this doesn't have any signature.  But I do know that it came from an estate sale so I'm assuming that it is old.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

What you have is a weight made by 'Blenko' with what is called an air twist core.  Blenko is located on the USA East coast.  They made these weights in several body colors, shapes, etc.  I have also seen the airtwist cores in different colors.  Try Google search for Blenko.  they also make a lot of other colored and clear glass.
