Is this Strathearn and any idea of date?
« on: December 20, 2012, 01:39:35 AM »
I guess this is technically a bowl but I believe it is Strathearn. Would love to have experts opinions and any info on this item that may be offered.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike.  Yes, 100% Strathearn. I'm afraid that some (I emphasise some) sellers on the other side of the pond think that anything modern, millefiori, and half decent is Murano, and that the name 'Murano' means it should be expensive - for reasons I cannot fathom.

Have a look at Richard More's Strathearn website for details of lots of designs that they made.
