Moser Vase Age ID Request.
« on: December 22, 2012, 04:22:18 PM »
Hello

Helpfully, the base says "Moser" but I have no idea of the age of this very heavy vase.  It stands 7.5 inches tall, and 4.5 inches across the top.  My photography does it no favours, but any help gratefully received.

Regards,
Stu.

Might be best if you wrote Moser at:

customerservice@moser-glass.com

Looks a bit like it might be one from the "Tradeswinds Collection" mid-1970s that were pretty straightforward & unembelished.  :'(

Thank you for the info.  I found this vase in a charity shop today for £10 so I'm ok with the look.  I can't say that I have seen a Moser vase that I actually like, sadly.  I guess it's just a taste thing, but those with the gold on make me cringe a bit.   :)

I have since discovered that this vase is made of Alexandrite glass, so it is green under house lights but pink in sunlight.  After five years of collecting, this is a new phenomenon to me (living and learning!)

Will provide ID details after I hear back from Moser, of course.

Moser have told me that it is called the Liberty Vase.  They no longer make this 7.5" version.

This one is now solved, thanks.

Whoops!  I meant Purity not Liberty (I always get those confused!)  Model number 626.
