Neodymium/Alexandrite glass bird
« on: December 28, 2012, 01:45:35 AM »
This is a very perky little glass bird, my favourite piece from my auction job lot.  It is 12.75cm high, changes from pale pink to pale lilac in different light, and the colour is even throughout.  I have been looking on the internet for some time but haven't been able to find another bird which is exactly the same.  This one is very minimalist in detail, short stubby tail and beak, and very cheerful and upward looking.  Some similar birds are Murano or Czech.  Can anyone give this a positive identification?
Thanks.
Valerie
