Uranium Vase - ID = Libochovice pattern #1508
« on: December 28, 2012, 12:28:32 PM »
Hi, I have trawled the web, it used to be surfing but I dont surf too fast !, and not been able to find the maker for this vase. It is 24cm high with a 13.5cm diameter foot which is stepped. Good UV reaction and in surprisingly good condition with no nicks or nibbles and no wear to the outer. The edges are well defined. Any clues welcome. Thanks
Pete. :-)

Hi Pete, this is Czech, shown in the Libochovice pre-1958 catalogue as pattern number 1508, height given as 240mm, which matches yours exactly. :)
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

While looking up your ID I managed to ID another piece I have seen (Jurnikl 'Iceberg') ;D Two for the price of one  :) :) Thanks very much Anne.

If anyone wants the pictures please feel free to use them. Can the Title bar be amended to include Libochovice.  Pete
