Hi

This is my first visit to the Paperweight message board, I bought some paperweight at auction, Maiden bid, everyone had gone to the Grand National Horse Race, so I was almost on my own and got lots of other bargains.

I don't know  anything about paperweighs, but one struck me as unusual, can you help? it is 4 1/4 inches high and has no makers marks.

It may be run just a paperweight but just need to be sure.

Thanks.

Is that a crack I see, or an annealing fault in the glass?

Not sure if these are Chinese or not, but I don't think it's of any great financial value.   It's quite cute, anyway

I would have to say that yes this is Chinese. Saw one in our Dollar store priced at $3, you figure that one out. Anyway A fish weight with a swallowed fish I can see, but what was that penguin thinking eating two little ones. Terry

I believe these are Chinese, can be found in Cancer Research shops, new goods section, about £4.99, labelled "Made in China".
