Cut wine or cordial - how old?

This piece is out of my area of knowledge (like many things  )
It is 5.25 inches tall and 2.75 inches wide at the top. The bowl and stem are cut from 1 piece of glass. The foot is a separate applied piece.
Is it a wine? Cordial? Port? Any clue how old? I think it is at least 19th century.

A neat way of telling the older from the newer ones is that in old glass the foot is wider than the cup so they can be stacked. I am not quite sure when the feet got smaller - I think it was around mid-century or 3rd quarter of the 19th century.

Ivo — Useful, thanks. It is the first time I have come across an explanation of this.
