[Mod: Feb 2015 - later thread now merged with this one. Both items have same cane structures. Maker is currently unknown.]

Another I just cannot find a match for Murano or Bohemian and how old?

Thanks but I've only heard of Goebel as a German glass company, do you have any links to the Italian one, is it part of the same company?

Had Murano 'type' weights before with a Gold and black circular label reading House of Goebel Italy before maybe an Import/Export label?

I believe that this is Murano...I've seen similar canes in more traditional paperweight forms. This piece is exceptionally large and seem well executed.

It's the same maker as this one I listed in a previous thread

reply was that it was Goebel, Italy. Also was really high quality compared to the average Murano weight.
