??? just aquired this jug - 14" inches tall - polished base w / star - features 4 stylized full raised tulips with like a fine band cut on the outline of the tulips. The glass seems to have like a wavyness - poured? The metal is being tested but I believe is silver. Any ideas on what company - country- age - date - and pattern. Anything would help. Thanks for you're efforts and time.

Hello and welcome to the board :)
I've no knowledge on this sort of thing so can't help, but it's a very pretty piece, I thought maybe a claret jug?  The star cut base is particularly lovely as well!  it looks to have 36 points?  I'm not sure if that will be of help dating it perhaps?
Please could we ask that you upload your pictures directly to the board, sizing them to 600 x 400 should work.  That way if any information is forthcoming, the pictures are hosted here and remain here for future reference.  Otherwise if they are hosted externally, they often disappear leaving the thread devoid of reference and therefore useless to future searches :)

Hopefully someone will be along shortly who will be able to help more with your id.
Where in the world you bought the item can also help sometimes.

That is wonderful news!  thank you for sharing with us.
Please could you upload your pictures directly to the board so we don't lose the information for future reference as external sites have a habit of becoming unavailable to view after a while?
Many thanks
