Topic: Blue thorn vase id please

Hello,  I picked this up at the weekend. I suppose its called a thorn vase and I think its milk glass ( not sure of the name)  Pale blue , made of two sections fused together. The base is ground flat so it can stand upright.13 inches long 5 and a half inches high. I think it has some age as there is wear on the bottom and it was filthy inside. I have found lots of thorn vases but not one like this. Anybody have any idea on this one please. My daughter loves  it, my brother thinks its hideous!!!!    Thanks   Cheryl

bump - I'm looking into whether a vase I've put on the Glass thread might be called milk glass and came across this with no replies

Hi,   I still have not come across another one like this yet. I have no idea of age or maker. I have been keeping an eye on Ebay thorn vases and have not seen one this colour.        Cheryl
