Interesting, a high price, but not sure who made it !!
« on: January 22, 2013, 05:16:05 PM »
Hi,
does anyone have a good idea who made this paperweight? I thought it looked great quality but wasn't sure about it. Seems it was a good one as it has sold for over £1000.

Cheers,

Clichy for me too, I'm just looking at a Clichy close pack (in one of my books not in my hand sadly) and it has the same blue centred cane surrounded in white then red as the eBay weight.

I'd vote Clichy too - but it looks like a rather strong price for a modest, medium sized example. I have a couple of similar pieces in stave baskets that I would happily sell for that price - or less!
