or the mould seams polished off... ?
3 days in bed is very, very boring. I'm glad for you it's over.
Time to indulge a bit in stuffing your face with whatever you fancy to put the weight back on! :D

I saw a smaller version of this flat plate type design, very solid and heavy, yesterday and it was signed Hadeland.
It didn't have the bubbles in and was one colour but the design reminded me immediately of yours.  Might be worth looking into?

and when you enlarge that first mottled Vase on the  pic of the sig on the base you can see the bubbles in it as well!!
Excellent - now we just have to find a match.  Stupidly I didn't peer too closely at the signature yesterday as the lighting wasn't great and I didn't want to seem too interested.  I just know it said Hadeland but couldn't see if it said anything else.

Flat plate here like yours - apparently 1960's ish
and it also has the teeny tiny bubbles in if you enlarge the first picture  - ooh that's exciting
so quite probably Willy Johansson for Hadeland for yours :)

Not sure how similar this linked tray might be, but at least provides a possible that yours might have been a 'console tray'

That is VERY similar - but there are a few differences. Pontil mark, iridescence. But shape, colour and size are accurate.
Thank you for being so alert.

welcome:)
so I suppose if yours might have been a tray to a set, then it's possible that there may be candle holders or a bowl or similar to find to match your tray. Given the creation of the glass and the finish on your piece, is it out of the question/unlikely that it could be from Murano?
