Actually the article says get confused, which is not the same thing at all.

Stargeek:
Actually I did due diligence.  Sequence of events.

Item inherited Nov. 2011
Performed my research and determined as Burmese.
Nov. 2012, Paid an appraiser certified with isa-appraisers.org to evaluate along with other items and he described as Peach Bowl.
Found Ebay listing of similar item also with Peach Bowl description from what appears to be an east coast dealer.
Listed item.
Received buyer note advising it was Burmese.
Found this forum.
Based on result modified listing less than 24 hours after start of auction.

Thanks to everyone from this board who provided constructive assistance.

Paid appraisers seem to be somewhat lacking in glass knowledge it seems to me from other people's anecdotes

Absolutely correct in my experience. 95% of appraisers are general line, jack of all trades, masters of none & when it comes to glass its especially true.
