Need help identifying very thin cobalt vase
« on: January 26, 2013, 03:36:20 AM »
Hello all. This vase was my grandmothers, but is now mine after she passed a while back. I have appreciated the lightness and color of this beautiful vase since I was a child.

The markings are very hard for me to make out. Using different lighting to illuminate the markings all I can seem to see is a 'W' (or 'M') and also multiple 'o' markings. height is 8". Is this enough information to identify this piece?

Thank you,
Adam

Your vase looks to me as though its mould blown glass and the marks your reading as being letters and numbers might just be something left over from the texture of the moulding process, I maybe wrong. The vase looks as though it maybe 1950s-60-70 in date wouldnt of thought any older.
