Anyone interested in the work of the Ysart family might want to note that the Paperweight Collectors Circle (PCC) are organising an Ysart weekend in June this year. Although the talks etc on the Saturday will be for PCC members only (you can of course join...), on the Sunday there will be a free, public exhibition organised by the PCC at the Broadfield House Glass Museum.

There will be over 300 items on display, including paperweights, vases, bowls, lamps, and jewellery made by members of the Ysart family, together with unusual items such as tins of colour used by Paul Ysart, his tools and original pictures of the Ysart family.  Peter Holmes will be demonstrating hot glass working on the day.

Update:   the Saturday sessions (talks etc) will be open to non-members. However, it will cost a little less for PCC Members, and if you want to attend the whole weekend it would work out £5 cheaper for a UK resident to join the PCC and then enrol for the weekend.
