Chribska or a generic Bohemian maker
« on: October 23, 2013, 03:30:11 PM »
I have this large (6 1/2 inch diameter) vase in pink and amber cased in clear with the attached gold foil label. Is this label a Chribska one or is it just a generic Bohemian piece. Thanks John

The boat seems to be a Chribska thing. During Communist times it was all one "happy family", so branding was disguised. Scroll down http://www.20thcenturyglass.com/glass_encyclopedia/glass_labels/glass_labels.htm

Thanks, I was rather assuming Chribska on the basis that the masts and sails on the boat were depicting 1414 which I understand was the year when the first glassworks was set up in Chribska
