I have also managed to locate further info about the slag glass example: The angel candleholder is shown in The Glass Candlestick Book Volume #3 Identification and Value Guide by Tom Felt and Elaine & Rich Stoer on page 188.  It is #6661 in the L E smith section. The years it was made are from 1980 to 1982. The colour there is called "Almond Noveau" and was made in many different colors.. Hope this helps.  Oooops, sorry Christine.
