Hi W-P  Just found these and thought  it must be worth waiting for bases to come along....there will be some  somewhere as it is usually the glass that gets broken!!

Just browsing this thread and really like the glasses, as hobbyist woodturner the turned mahogany bases would be a simple job for any accomplished woodturner to re create from the photos Rosieposie has found. They would just need to measure the glass bases for fit.

I'm sure you can find someone near to you.

Nick

Forgive me, but I am skeptical as to a Pairpoint attribution & frankly I do not trust either Kovels or an auction company as a source for such an attribution. I've seen this nonsense all too often when it comes to Pairpoint shades of all types. Fortunately there is a way to prove this & it would be in your best interest to do so. Pairpoint started as a silver manufacturing company in 1880 & in 1894 they aquired the Mt. Washington Glass Company (both companies were located in New Bedford). Now since its beginning Pairpoint marked all their metal production, there are no exceptions & don't let anyone tell you there are, & this continued when they merged with Mt. Washington. Note you have metal collars on your shades which in all probability were plated but may now be down to their copper base metal...look for any marking such as a P within a diamond no matter how small on the metal collars or the word Pairpoint MFG Co.(although I think the P within a diamond is far more likely) & if its there congratulations. If its not then its not Pairpoint...period & any knowledgable Pairpoint collector would tell you the same.

No it just means they're not Pairpoint and that the attribution is most likely wrong. You need labels, adverts or catalogue evidence

I assumed the metal collars they were standing on were just something you had used to stand them on to photograph them on. Thought you only had the glass shades!
The search goes on then,  unless of course there was a further piece of metal that is now missing that might have had the Pairpoint mark on.

Wow ! This is a completely different lamp /source....Rigual...which would suggest that the pairpoint versions tv would be based on this design?
