Ladybug on leaf. ID = Modern Chinese

Bought this at a thrift store last week because it had a good-luck ladybug and I like looking at it.

I believe the bug is sulfide but not sure.

Would like to know if anyone has an idea of a maker.

Though the picture of the base seems dull here, it is actually polished.
