Daum centre piece
« on: February 18, 2013, 03:47:02 PM »
Daum crystal centre piece by Michael Daum c1950/60 - bowl in triangular shape with candle holders to three ends - still retain original metal discs - impressive and heavy piece - has age ware to base that is typical. Signed Daum France with cross of Lorraine.  9 inches by 9 inches, 3 inches high, weighs 2300g (2.3 kilos).

Bought for 20 which I think was a bargain. I'm keeping this it will look great with the candles in it.

Michael Daum introduced a variety of modern styles in the wake of World War II at the 1951 exhibition in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, which coincided with the revitalization of the French glass industry.
