Hi,   Any ideas of the maker of this paperweight? Dia. 8.2cm   It's signed MC or CNC, but I am not familiar with either signature.  Your help is appreciated.  Thanks

Hi Otis, looks like a Caithness Glass paperweight. The mark is CIIG, means its a second.

As David said Caithness from their range of Birthday weights you can see that the 60 is badly formes hence it was sold as a second.

Oh! so it is CllG.   I first thought it might be that, but ruled this out when compared to all the caithness paperweights with the CIIG marking I do have.    The first and the second marking does looking joined, which at some point I did read as the letter m.   Obviously being a novice on the subject matter, I could not recognise that there was any fault with the 60.   Could you either explain what the actual fault is or have you got any comparison pictures which would help me in the future, especially when buying.  Thanks
