My new weight
« on: February 21, 2013, 08:52:40 PM »
Hi all

Ian and Nick have been posting recent acquisitions so I thought I would add one of mine.

I was lucky enough to spend some time last week with John Deacons - 6" snow in Crieff which
made getting to the studio an adventure ! but it was worth it as I watched John and Craig make
this superb pompom swirl. Needless to say it has ended up in my collection.

What do you think of it?

Best regards

Derek

Hi Nick

There is only one problem - once you have seen a weight being made you HAVE to
have that selfsame one !

There is something about watching a gather from a pot of molten glass being
fashioned before your eyes. Better still is having a go yourself!

Best regards

Derek

That's beautiful, I love the colour combination and the neatness of it.
