Tomaso Buzzi, Laguna vase...
« on: April 13, 2013, 12:20:27 PM »
Morning Everyone,

I bought this piece a while back and the seller claimed it was by Tomaso Buzzi, which given the shape and the technique, seemed correct to me.

The only reservation about it have is the pontil mark. It is ground and convex (hope that makes sense). The pieces that I have seen by Buzzi, which actually show the underside, all the pontil's have been snapped off.

This piece stands at 11 cm. by 7 cm.

Any information would be greatly appreciated,

rob
